In 2020 Brenda had the opportunity to meet Jackson and his family when they hired Brenda to sell their home. From that moment on, Brenda knew Jackson was a very special person. She has always admired his strength watching his mom tell his story throughout social media. When planning a charity golf tournament for this summer, Brenda knew she wanted to benefit someone special. Jackson and Shriners Children's Hospital immediately came to mind, and we are so excited to honor Jackson's name as well as the other children at Shriners in our First Annual Golf Classic this coming June!

Jackson began his journey with Shriners Hospital in Springfield at the young age of two weeks old. He received numerous treatments until going in for a major surgery in December of 2021.

In words of Jackson's parents, Jill & Nick, "the moment we became patients at Shriners was the moment we entered a family we never thought we would need, and love so much." Without the donations and fundraising from the community, the hospital staff would not have the resources to keep the children smiling and feeling at home throughout their journey at Shriners Children's Hospital.
