Our Honorees

Introducing Sadie!

We are thrilled to introduce you to Sadie, a Shriners patient & member of our community that we'll be honoring at our Second Annual Golf Benefit for Shriners Children's this August!

Sadie, a 15-year-old freshman at Longmeadow High, has shown remarkable strength and resilience since her scoliosis diagnosis at the age of 8. Despite wearing her Boston brace for 20 hours a day, Sadie doesn't let anything hold her back from living life to the fullest.️

For the past eight years, Sadie has been a force on the hockey rink, defending the blue line with determination. But she's not one to stick to just one sport—this past season, she made waves on the high school volleyball team and had an absolute blast!

Join us in celebrating Sadie's incredible journey and unwavering spirit as we come together to support Shriners Children's and honor amazing individuals like Sadie and Jackson from our communities.️

See you on the green!

Meet Jackson!

Jackson is a second grader at Stony Hill Elementary in Wilbraham. At just 7 years old, Jackson has shown remarkable resilience and determination. Born with a severe right club foot and arriving 7 weeks early, he became a patient of Shriners while still in the NICU at Baystate. Since then, Shriners has been by his side, providing him with the care and support he needs. After multiple treatments and therapies, Jackson underwent a life-changing surgery in December 2021.

Today, he's biking, walking, running, skipping, and jumping like any other child – and he can even beat his old mom in a race any day! 💪 His love for camping and family time shines through, and he continues to inspire us with his strength and spirit.

We're honored to have Jackson as part of our tournament, reminding us all of the incredible impact Shriners has on young lives.

Let's tee off and make a difference together! ⛳️️
